Modesto Fire responded to a vegetation fire near Tuolumne that began spreading to a nearby home. A working structure fire was dispatched due to the fire being against the home. The fire was contained quickly and crews checked for extension.
Vehicle fire at Hwy99 near S 9th street that extended into a vegetation fire. A commercial fire response was dispatched due to the vegetation fire spreading to a outbuilding. The outbuilding had no extension and the commercial response was canceled.
Modesto Fire Station 15 crew extinguished a gas line that had caught fire at the Sunrise village on S 7th street in South Modesto.
