Multi Alarm fire In South Modesto

At approximately 7:25pm today the Modesto and Stanislaus Consolidated Fire Departments were dispatched to the 600 block of South 7th Street in Modesto for a working residential structure in a trailer park.

Crews arrived to find multiple trailers on fire with live power lines down. The incident grew to 3 alarms with 5 residential units damaged.

The fire is now under control and firefighters are overhauling the involved trailers. PG&E, MID, and law enforcement are on scene.

The American Red Cross are responding to assist approximately 15 residents effected by the fire.

Roads in the immediate area are closed temporarily while crews complete overhaul.
